I’m really excited to be opening for Paul Thorn in Richmond Oct 24th.   Paul Thorn is a ridiculously good story teller and songwriter.  And, how cool is this…before his professional music career began, he was briefly a professional boxer, having fought a nationally-televised fight against former world champion Roberto Duran?!?!?!?  His music is even cooler.  Do not miss the chance to see him perform live.

Finalist in Mountain Stage NewSong Contest!

Im super excited that my song ‘L.A.’ has been selected as a  finalist in the NewSong Mountain Stage contest!   The grand prize: A chance to record an EP with grammy-award winning producer, Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Norah Jones).  I made a lovely bedroom video of it for the voting.  So…Won’t you take a brief moment, watch it, and vote for it here: And…maybe tell some friends?!

Mieka Pauley Sings on ‘Be Sweet to Me’

I remember thinking… “What does this album need??” And then it hit me: Mieka Pauley. So, I asked my friend Mieka to come hang out and record some vocals on “Everything Just Happened the Way that it Happened.” And she friggin’ killed it.
Be Sweet to Me is my favorite from that album. And Mieka makes it pretty special. I think you’ll agree.

Mieka Pauley sings on Before Morning Sobers

I remember thinking… “What does this album need??” And then it hit me: Mieka Pauley. So, I asked my friend and fellow road warrior Mieka to come hang out and record some vocals on “Everything Just Happened the Way that it Happened.” And she friggin’ killed it. This song, “Before Morning Sobers” features her pretty prominently on the choruses and theres a really cool call and response outro. Hope you dig it!!
